It’s a done deal folks, we’re now officially full-time RVers!!!
(can you tell I’m excited?!)
We got the RV Monday morning, and everything became a whirlwind after that! Joshua’s parents came up and helped us move out of the apartment, which ended up being a bigger hassle than either of us had expected. Thankfully, with lots of helping hands, we were able to get out of the apartment only *slightly* later than planned.
We also took our new home-on-wheels to get checked out and had a couple small things repaired. Our friends, the C family, were so helpful and were able to show us (well, Joshua really) how to best care for the mechanical side our new home.
After two-and-a-half days of moving stuff into the RV, organizing everything in it’s place, packing away boxes of stuff that need to be given away, and cleaning out the apartment, we said goodbye to the apartment-dwelling season of our lives and were finally able to hand over the keys to our apartment.
As you might imagine, there’s still plenty to do as we begin our lives in our new home, so this is just a short update. Many more photos to follow!
